Pure Waters, Credits & Linkage
This section is all about the shrine itself. You can read a little about the layout, find the resources I used while creating the site, download a button if you'd like to link back to Waternymph, and visit a collection of other Secret of Mana websites.
The Layout
For this version of the shrine, I wanted the layout to reflect Luka herself and the peaceful atmosphere of the Water Palace. That's why I went with different shades of turquoise and blue to give everything a calm, flowing feeling. I wanted it to look as if it was surrounded by water without going overboard with effects. The layout is based on official artwork of Luka from the 2018 Secret of Mana remake. While I will always love the original pixel art, I usually prefer using official artwork for layouts because it gives me a bit more freedom when designing a page.
One little detail I couldn't resist adding is the bubble cursor. I've always had a soft spot for fun cursor effects (it's a bit of a weakness of mine now, honestly), and little soap bubbles floating around the screen just felt like the perfect finishing touch for a shrine dedicated to Luka and the Water Palace.

If you'd like to link to Waternymph, feel free to use one of the buttons below. Please upload the button to your own server instead of hotlinking it or linking directly from this site. And if you'd like to share your own button with me, I'd love to add it here! I always enjoy seeing how others design their own buttons.
