Crown of the Earth was opened in June 2025. For my layout, I chose the fairy tale Marienkind as inspiration. At the center is an image of the golden girl, taken from the moment when she is finally forgiven by the Virgin Mary after a long period of silence and suffering. Gold in this story carries a double meaning. First, it appears as a mark of disobedience—the girl touches the divine light and her finger turns gold. Later, gold becomes a sign of forgiveness and grace.

I placed the image at the heart of the layout, showing the girl in a moment of transformation. She moves from guilt and exile to redemption and light. Surrounding her, I used soft, bright colors so the gold would stand out as a symbol of change and spiritual healing.

This layout explores gold not just as a metal, but as something meaningful. In the story, it reflects inner truth and the power of admitting one’s mistakes. Through this design, I wanted to show that true value comes from honesty, repentance, and forgiveness.
