Ravenclaw was launched in May 2025, born from a renewed appreciation for Edea Kramer after revisiting Final Fantasy VIII. The more I thought about her character, the more I wanted to create a space dedicated to her. Her strength, elegance, and tragic complexity stayed with me, and Ravenclaw became a way for me to celebrate everything that makes her such a memorable character.The layout is built around deep blacks, violet shades, and soft purples, giving the site a dark and slightly dreamlike atmosphere. I wanted it to feel mysterious without losing the elegance that has always been such an important part of Edea's appearance. There is something almost magical about the way she carries herself, and I wanted the design to capture some of that feeling.
The menu is designed as a delicate ornament, decorated with glowing magical glyphs that give off a subtle light. The effect is meant to echo the feeling of sorceress magic without making the design feel too overwhelming. Small details such as the borders, shadows, colors, and soft glow were chosen with Edea in mind.
More than anything, I wanted Ravenclaw to feel like a reflection of Edea herself: dark and mysterious at first glance, but elegant, graceful, and warm beneath the surface. The design is meant to capture both sides of her character and the atmosphere that makes her so fascinating to me.
