Deling-City is a city from Final Fantasy VIII, which is located in the north of the Galbadia continent. It represents the capital of the state of Galbadia and was named after its president, Vincer Deling. Deling-City is also the home of Julia Heartilly and Colonel Caraway and the hometown of Rinoa Heartilly. The design of the city is based on that of Paris, as announced by Tetsuya Nomura.
You can also find the Galbadia Hotel in Deling-City. The Galbadia Hotel is a popular accommodation. It has a small bar where Julia once played the piano before her breakthrough with the song Eyes On Me. Here she and Laguna also got to know each other.
